You know that thing that happens when two kickass characters have a lot of screentime together, are playing the same game and on the same side, and have lots of things to talk about and evidence of past collaboration, but never say a word to each other in the canon because they're too busy interacting with the heroine ( Read more... )

 Thank you! It was a lot of fun trying to see through Cinna's eyes.

Cinna is my favorite character, maybe tied with Finnick. This is just amazing. If you keep writing Hunger Games fanfic I might need to reread the entire series.

I'm sure it will be! Puel and I are working on something really big together, and I'm writing the prequel to that as well, should go up sometime before. And there are so many ideas, mostly for Finnick and Annie and Mags and Johanna and Cinna and Haymitch, though not all at the same time.

I really, really enjoyed reading this. This was such a treat. And Haymitch singing? That has got to be the highlight, right there. The whole thing reads so effortlessly, and I love the details. Great job!

Thank you~

The idea for Haymitch singing didn't hit me until the end of the writing process! Originally he was just going to whistle. But then the idea of the coal miner's warning song snuck up on me and I just had to put it in.

This is wonderful. I really didn't know what to expect, from Haymitch and Cinna - since we see them interact so briefly - and this was just killer. A+.

Yay, thank you so much!

I think I love scenarios like that. Two characters, both a like in dignity...
