I believe Joshua when he says he wants them to win and he wishes he could help. He seems like the only non-dick angel besides Cas.

I was reassured that Cas isn't just some sort of mutant and there are nice angels up there...well at least two anyways.

Yeah, but Anna was okay in the beginning too, so now I'm afraid if we see him again (not likely) they'll do the same thing with him. If we don't see him again the point will be moot.
