( Kara's heavy golden hair is soaked with sweat as she tosses on the pillow. She mutters something in Kryptonian, an edge of panic to her voice, her blue eyes staring at something only she can see. )

Oh, this was FANTASTIC. I love how well you described the effects of the Kryptonite, and seeing Steph being all protective was wonderful. The description of what Kara said was great too.

Eeee, thanks! I'm so glad you liked it! Bats tend to get very grumpy when they can't help the people they care about...which makes them very fun to write. :)

Awww!! I love that Steph went to destroy the kryptonite, even if it wouldn't do any good; it was a gorgeously symbolic act. :)

I was surprised she insisted on that! And she was very surprised when Bruce gave it to her...Bruce knows how she feels a bit, I think. :)
