Feb. 1986--World's Finest #323--"The End"
The last issue of World's Finest, "The End" (Feb. 1986), features Superman getting attacked by magic and being kidnapped. Batman has to find and save him, but at the end chews him out for being careless and relying on him too much. The cover is beautiful and mournful, a farewell to an era:
