First off, whee, I'm Ursula LeGuin! I don't think I could ask for a happier result (and they even mention my favorite book of hers, Always Coming Home, specifically!)

Your result for Which fantasy writer are you?...
You are High-Brow, Peaceful, Traditional and Cynical! )

meta, awesome, writing

*sneaks into her own thread under students' eyes*

Man, I don't think he's going to experience all that time, do you? That would be...even Bruce might not be up to that. Also, he'd have been able to come up with SO MUCH STUFF in that time, he'd be insanely powerful (um, like camoflage suits! Eee!). I'm hoping it'S that he jumps forward a little bit each time...and it looks like he's basically going to stay "in Gotham" the whole time, you know? No visits to feudal Japan, alas...but Pilgrim Bruce, AWESOME.

I suspect they will never tell us how any of this happened, lol. I don't really care, although it's a nagging annoyance! And I want Tim to find him and take him home and restore his memories (assuming it can't be Clark, I'm not quite so crazy as to hope for that, lol...but it could be written, oh yes it could...)

Oh yes, yes it could be written... beautifully... oh my god, just, time travel and amnesia?? Grant, I love your fic!! it's so crazy and you know exactly how to get me :) Did you see the 'and his high cheekbones!' comment in the interview? hahaha, wtf, Grant! I am not the only writer with a Bruce-crush, clearly :P

I guess he won't live the time through, either, especially because he's amnesic? that would be.. well, he would be an entirely different person at the end. Not that it wouldn't be the case with his memories, BUT YOU KNOW. And I'm so confused... he seems to be staying in Gotham, but Tim is in Irak being all 'I know Bruce is alive!' and stuff. Irak? ...

I know there will be no explanation that makes sense, lol, but.. but I sort of don't care. Even half-assed is fine! I seriously like Grant more for his ideas and scenarios than his endings, and that is perfectly fine with me.

Also, wtf, you rated more cynical than romantic? Bitter kitten has lost the faith! :P

LOL, Morrison, wtf, man. High cheekbones! I have to check that out.

It's true, that cave drawing is in the middle east, huh?! Yet it all feels very Gotham, hmmm, how did he get from the middle east to Gotham, that is...all very...crazy. Hijinks abound! Leave lots of things open so we have more to write, Morrison!

Also, wtf, you rated more cynical than romantic? Bitter kitten has lost the faith! :P

There may have been a few questions about religion and the meaning and purpose of life that sunk me, lol. LOOK BATMAN IS THE PURPOSE OF LIFE OKAY? :D

From what I understand from continuity, the main DC universe is actually New Earth / Earth-0, and has only "existed" since 52, as all the previous universes experienced a big crunch in one of the Crises, then started branching out again in a later Crises.

But since there was already an Earth One continuity, and was, really, the first universe DC published in, I'm as confused as you are.

( BTW, we are on Earth Q. Apparently. Comics are weird. )

I would be more excited about Bruce coming back from the dead, if I didn't already know he wasn't dead and just Lost in Time and Space. I just hoping that Batwoman will keep Detective until Bruce comes back.

I hope Kate gets to hold on to Tec until at least September! I doubt Bruce will immediately bound back into the cowl, so I think Dick and Kate will be in their roles for a while yet.

I need to get used to this "New Earth" business--it's apparently been that way for a while and it just hasn't sunk in for me. :)

Earth Q?? That's weird. But okay with me! :)

Apparently I'm not Ursula, I got some random author I don't know :(

*runs off to google*

I'm very excited to hear this lovely news! I can't wait for Tim to give the "I Told You So" eyebrow and Bruce to ground Damien for being a twerp.

So...who was it? Inquiring minds want to know!

And man, seeing some reunions would be balm for my soul. I know I won't get all the happy reunions I want, but even just a little...

Yikes! I hope that Bruce isn't living through thousands of years. I'd fear for his sanity!

I wonder if he'll come back more broody than ever?

Hopefully DC will give him a good adventure.

Yeah, living through all that time is just not good for one. Plus, it would imply that he was physically unaging now, which would not be good at all...though I could still write some cool fic about it if he were...

I wonder if he'll come back more broody than ever?

Oh, I do hope so. :) I love him that way, it makes his bond with Clark that much more special. Bring on the angsty Bruce needing cuddles!
