It’s a bit hard to give coherent thoughts to this chapter because my brain has melted once again into a puddle of good all over my computer. It is so hard to get melted brains out of a keyboard. *happy sigh*

This was wonderful. From the descriptions of Bruce flying and the battle where Fiorella slashed Clark’s chest to her final demise I was on the edge of my seat. However, when they got home and Bruce took Clark I just about fainted away. This was unbelievely hot, beautifully written. I mean the words themselves describing the action were so vivid and lovely that they painted a very intense picture in my mind. I guess you can say I was enraptured like Clark.

I know there is only one part left, but I hope that there could be more stories with Clark and Vampire Bruce down the line. I’m not too proud to beg for a series of them. *g*

*beams happily* Aw, thanks! I had a great deal of fun writing this chapter--both finishing off Fiorella (which I probably enjoyed more than I should have) and the sex (and I won't say I enjoyed it more than I should have!)

arch_schatten has been mulling writing a sequel to this series, and I know her take on it would be fantastic. I've been thinking about angles as well--I might have to do more comprehensive research on vampire tropes while I'm in the US, yes. *nods solemnly*

I'm delighted you enjoyed this chapter and thank you so much for commenting on it!

I waited all morning to be able to read this (drowning with work) and oh, oh, how it was worth the wait! *happy sigh* This was just wonderful! Thank you! (going back to work, but with a silly grin instead of an annoyed frown. hee!)

Wow! Go Bruce! And Clark! *grin* Got what she deserved, I think, but I may be biased ;) And then the two of them ... Uh, I'm probably not very coherant. *grins sheepishly* Fabulous, though. Fabulous.

Hee, thanks! This was a tough chapter to write because it had two different, uh, kinds of action in it, lol. Neither of which are my strong point compared to chatting on a couch. :) I'm glad you liked it!

Ooh, sex and violence! Kewl! ;)

Seriously, the battle was awesome! Poor Clark, being bitten by the vampires, but Bruce saves the day with his beautiful black wings! Yes, I foresee aerial sex in their future. :)

And the sex scene was very well done. :)

I do like Clark insisting that Bruce isn't soulless. He isn't like Fiorella or those other vampires. He is still a good person, vampire or not. :)

*bounces over to see Rai's art close-up*

They don't even take long to get to it, the eager boys. *grin*

Dan suggests it's not the being a vampire so much as the act of killing people to consume them that costs you your soul. Which I would like to think...

Rai's art is really gorgeous and subtle! I've been very engrossed in it for a while now. :)
