Poor Clark and Bruce.
I hope you update again soon, I think Clark must be right but Bruce is being stubborn.

I really don't like Fiorella. I know I'm not meant to anyway, but still. I want to break her fangs open, and see how she likes it. *grins fiercely* She might not have expected resistance from Brucie, but Bruce is a whole other ball game!
And Clark! I agree. I wanted Bruce to agree. Just a little. Imagine Clark thinking his blood isn't good enough. Honey, if that was the case, Bruce wouldn't be near so adamant about not touching it. Man always fears most hat he wants most. *nods*
This is such an awesome story!

One of my favorite moments in this story. :) Clark is a bold one.

One lovely thing about creating an original villain is you don't have to worry about all the more nuanced portrayals in canon (and every canon villain has developed a fair amount of nuance over the years)--you can just go to town on decadent evil. And so I did. Her one weakness apparently is very, very bad choices in victims to turn. *matching fierce grin*

It's so true, Bruce's very vehemence is a sign of how tempted he is. :) Oh, he's very fun to write that way, too...
I'm so glad you're enjoying it!

Fiorella’s appearance in the Manor was such an unexpected surprise for me in this story! I had some suspicions there would be more than only Clark and Bruce dealing with the problem of Bruce as a vampire. But I really didn’t expect this! As always, you are a master of surprises and plot twists!
"I did not expect such resistance, such willpower, from you when I made you one of us, Bruce Wayne. You are apparently more than you seem."
Fiorella strongly underestimated Bruce.
Your thirst...for the one skulking at the top of the stairs, perhaps?"
She did know!
She hissed, a purely feral sound of rage, bestial. Clark felt dread and terror clench around him but was unable to move. Fear, anger, hatred--and nothing more, no attraction, no allure.
You described her and her behavior so vividly. Great work!
The female vampire turned and smiled at him, her lips curving mockingly, then turned and slipped from the Manor.I was glad she left. And I have to say, she was scary but more she just was disgusting. Poor Bruce and Clark! * ( ... )

*grin* I was going to just focus on the two of them, but then I kind of wanted an outside conflict to force their hand, and Bruce's sire seemed like a logical place to put that tension. (I really enjoyed writing Fiorella, somehow! She's wonderfully narcissistic and imperious...)

She is so going to regret that choice. :)
I was expecting this line reading this update. But knowing Bruce (and you :D), I was thinking Bruce probably wouldn’t want to give up so soon, if ever. *Sigh*
I love the push and pull of sacrifice and restraint way too much to tilt the balance one way or the other yet. *grin*
The love and faith are my hope for the next chapters. I hope Clark’s faith and their love can find a solution for them.Oh, thank you so much! I hope the resolution doesn't disappoint when we get ( ... )

In one take on vampires in the comics, a vampire bites Clark and instantly bursts into flames because of the sunlight-power of Clark's blood. This will not be happening in this series, lol (I deliberately moved it to the animated series because I don't believe vampires ever show up there so I could choose how it works more freely). It's interesting in part because there really are a lot of ways it could work! Here's hoping the conclusion works for you. :)
