Sydney and Alfred. Jarod and Selina. Serious wow! (Do we get to see Selina vs Ms Parker in earnest, do you think?) Brucie vs Ms Parker for false smiles. Lucius! Duchenne smiles! Dick with Mwezi and Shemshi. *grin* And Oracle vs the Center! Oh, I'd pay to see that (love Ms Parker knowing she's a woman, too *grin*).
I love how you wove in Jarod's Onisius, and made it Batman. And Tuttle! Nice touch. I love Sydney seeing the Batclan, and Alfred encouraging him to remember what he set out to be. I love Jarod being all genius-like at Wayne Enterprizes, and Lucius with his gut feelings. I love Selina getting involved with the cat crime, and Jarod knowing to call her. I love Dick at the circus, just knowing. I love Bruce seeing just enough of Jarod to understand, and share that understanding. I love Ms Parker's 'This city is full of freaks!'. *grin* If only she knew. And I adore Oracle and Broots.
Basically ... I love this story!

I think I mentioned in response to your birthday fic to me that Miss Parker just was refusing to open up in this one! Very frustrating, she was too annoyed by everything. She and Selina would be so much fun, though, talk about cat and mouse...
And Oracle vs the Center! Oh, I'd pay to see that (love Ms Parker knowing she's a woman, too *grin*).I mentioned to someone above that I'd like to think Oracle does take them down eventually--and finds Broots a nice job somewhere safe in Gotham while she's at it ( ... )

Most of my Batman knowledge comes from the new movies (and fanfic), and most of my Pretender knowledge comes from a tiny handful of episodes watched years ago; but that was still enough to find this crossover utterly delightful. It just makes so much sense, in a way few crossovers actually manage, and the characterizations were really well done besides. =)

I really enjoyed writing Jarod, he's an interesting contrast with the almost-always-level Batman, as he tends to throw himself both into delight and vengeance with a definite relish.
I certainly would mind seeing Jarod drop by Gotham again... or Metropolis and convince Batman that he needs to be 'friends' with the resident alien there. *grins* Can you blame me for my mind always going back in that direction? ;)
I certainly can't blame you at all! I think Jarod would be quite delighted at meeting a flying man. *grins* And oh, the chellenge of empathizing with an alien, how could he resist? :)

But seriously, that's awesome how you can play with different characters like that and keep their personalities unique and separate. It's a joy to read and I can't wait to see what you have in the works next.
