1) Pick up to 15 pairings you like
2) Describe them in up to 15 words
3) Get your friends to guess

(As a hint:  5 are DC, 4 are Trek, 6 are other fandoms;  11 are m/m, 3 are m/f, one is f/f).

1.  An endless game, chasing and catching and escaping again.  The chasing is the best part. (bradygirl_12 and snake_easing  guessed Bruce/Selina)
2.  Bitter enemies, fated slayers.  A ( Read more... )

Correct on all of them! I was thinking Boromir/Aragorn (admittedly there's less space in canon for that, lol), but it works well for either.

Would No. 1 be Bruce/Selina?

No. 9: Q/Picard?

1 is Bruce/Selina, but it could easily be Picard/Q.

6 is Garak/Bashir, obviously.

11 is not actually Fire/Ice, is it?

1. You're right, it could...or Jarod/Parker from the Pretender, a pairing that almost made the list. Obviously I like the dynamic. *grin*

I also note that 20% of my favorite pairings end up with one of them killing the other. @_@

6. Yays! *dances* The first pairing I ever "saw" entirely on my own...

11. Nope, I mean it more metaphorically here, although I do like Fire/Ice. :)

???!!! I wouldn't have pegged you as the villain/hero type, I honestly wouldn't. But now that I know, can I interest you in a little Batman/Darkseid? (I joke.)

6. Yays! *dances* The first pairing I ever "saw" entirely on my own...

The word "simple" was what did it; I would have gotten it from that alone. That pairing was also my first. God, I was so young! And I never paid attention to the age restrictions on fan content, let me tell you.

One more guess: Holmes/Watson for 8.

The odd thing is that not a one of them is a villain/hero pairing. :) Let's see...one is a mercy killing and two have a moment of panic or battle-lust lead to tragedy (one of them is #8, so not Holmes/Watson).

I loved them so. *sighs* They and the canon pairing that's also in the list were the reason I loved DS9...and then TPTB broke them both up and I was in mourning for years.

... someone needs to guess 14, cause I am clueless about most fandoms... and canons for that matter... but it sounds like it could suit a very old fandom of mine and... ^^; Yeah.

Would one of them die beautifully in the other's arms? I don't think I've ever talked about the pairing in my LJ, so... *looks hopeful*

.... if you tell me that is Zoisite and Kunzite, I think I will die of embarrassed gleeful fangirl. ^^;;

Huzzah! *throws hands in the air, does victory dance*

Oh, what a lovely icon! *swoons*

Yeah, Kunzite and Zoisite were one of my first loves--I even RPed Zoi on a MUD way back when, with my husband as Kunzite. We had lots of fun with the American fans who weren't sure what gender the character was... ;)

You know, it does sound like Raistlin! I was never really able to ship him with anyone, though. No, 5 is one of the DC ones. :)
