*reads further, then* Alright, scratch that, no, Bilbo amongst the hummingbirds while Thorin watches adoringly is definitely the cutest thing. That's such a beautiful image, what gave you the idea?
THORIN SAW BILBO'S HOUSE. I know this isn't likely in the cards especially since Kingly Duty is a thing, but I'm now enchanted with the mental image of the two of them settled down in a peaceful old man retirement there together. <3 <3 <3

And I don't know exactly where the hummingbirds came from! I believe I saw one this summer, a more plain one, and got thinking about ruby-throated hummingbirds and how they look like little flying gems, which made me think of Thorin, of course, and it just went from there. :)

Ahhhhhhhh! *happy flailing* I understand why people really like to move Bilbo to Erebor when they're together, but I'm much more fond of the idea that Thorin could somehow move to the Shire. He and the world would have to be very different places, but--let's just say this series has a long way to go. *grin*
