*flaily flail* Bruuuuuuce! Claaaaark! Just kiss already!

You captured Batman's surliness over having to go find Clark perfectly. And, of course, the World's Greatest Detective finds him fighting injustice. *amused headshake* That must have been so jarring to find Kal as frail as any human, covered with bruises and blood, weak with hunger and cold. *shivers* Thank goodness that crystal was shattered in time and Supes regained his powers in time.

Now if they'd just frakking kiss! :P

Writing surly!Bruce is just...way too much fun, lol. As is writing a powerless Kal being all heroic anyway!

(Darn them for not kissing! They better get to it soon!)

I think part of the fun for writing surly!Bruce is knowing that it's a defense to protect his soft underbelly (visualizing hedgehog!Bruce right now :P). Fighting injustice comes naturally to Kal, regardless of whether he remembers who he is or has powers or not.

AAAH. Yes, I echo jestana's sentiments, JUST KISS.

BTW, I love that Flash chimed in with the Super-ventriloquism, I love when people remember that relatively silly ability of his.

Super-ventriloquism is the BEST, lol. And of course it's Wally that remembers it. :)

He was surprised that it was interrupted by what seemed to be three large space dragons, their wings scooping implausibly at vacuum and their maws full of gnashing teeth.

I was surprised too! :p

"Fine. I'll tell you what," Batman said, "I'll find him for you. I'm sure he's gotten sidetracked somewhere and is playing superhero on some worshipful planet and just forgotten to check in. They're probably building statues to him right now as he juggles mountains for their entertainment. I'll just go tell him the League can't function without him and would he pretty please hurry home, all right?"

"Oh, and super-ventriloquism!" Flash called after him as he turned and stalked from the room.

*giggles* Poor Bruce! And I loved Wally's 'help'!

If there was injustice being perpetrated, the Kryptonian would be right there to put a halt to it, as gaudily and sanctimoniously as possible. He'd punch the bad guys, receive the keys to the city, give some speeches about flossing regularly and being good to each other, and then Batman could get him ( ... )

LOL! "Okay, dragons...we seem to have switched genres," thought Batman...

Helpful (not) Flash is always a wonderful thing to write...

Bruce was so flustered and confused and annoyed in this story--and I hate to say it, but that made him a real pleasure to write, lol. Silly Bruce!

Noooooo, I want moooooore, I want the part where they make out in the Javeline!!!

Ugh, this was fabulous, de-powered Superman stories are the best, plus bonus amnesia, Bruce must be having ALL OF THE CONFUSING FEELINGS RIGHT NOW.

This gift exchange is awesome, I love getting such a massive pile of fic from you. ♥

(I would also like to join the chorus of JUST KISS! *smooshes them together until they comply*)

*growls along with you* My stories seem to be really into the UST lately, I don't know why!

Amnesia and lack of powers is a lot of fun just because...I don't know, it kind of gives you a chance to explore what the character is when stripped down to just their personality? So there's a lot of opportunity for character revelations, which are always fun! :)

I've been spamming the flist lately, haven't I? I think I've posted more in January than in all of November and December, practically. I HAVE NO REGRETS.

*grin* Bruce (and sometimes Clark!) being completely wrong about each other can be a lot of fun to write, even if it does lead to wanting to slap them around a bit!

*baps Bruce a little*
