I'm holding out some hope that they're saving up all the S/B interaction for their own title one day again. I will never give up hope! I don't mind them raining on Hal all the time because I never liked him...but I know that's bad of me. I'm loving this boisterous warrior characterization they're giving Diana!
And you're right about the art in Demon Knights, they're drawing the women amazingly!

I must post a squeely post here soon! I reined myself in on Twitter, but yeah, it's proof that even if they don't interact, they manage to bring the bromance.

Isn't Neves great? I've become kind of obsessed lately with artists that actually draw women who aren't chesty (I like chesty too, but having a mix is awesome) and his drawings of Ystin and Horsewoman make me all swoony.

I guess this is just more of the same. I kinda like his new look. He looks more aquatic somehow.
Ack! Why is Superman attacking the army???

Well, at the moment they're attacking the League and the parademons indiscriminately; he froze the bay and is trying to force the helicopters down onto the ice to take them out of the battle.

I know, right? Something about it just works. I'm not gonna analyze it too much.

What exactly is Demon Knights about, by the way? That's Jason Blood/Etrigan and his gang, right? Even if it's not that looks like such an awesome title! The art is gorgeous and the villain's henchman seems laughably ineffective. It also gets major bonus points for having a Muslim hero. Someone did their research on that title!

To be honest, I never have been either! In part because of when I started reading comics again, Kyle is probably closest to my heart, but I've come to love John and Guy as well. Hal is...well, he amuses me as written here, but I don't exactly like him...
Yes, DK is Jason, Madame Xanadu (who is romantically involved with both Jason and Etrigan in one of the odder triangles I've seen), Shining Knight, Exoristos (a new character who's an Amazon), Horsewoman, Vandal Savage, and Al Jabr. It's written by Paul Cornell, who I really believe is firmly committed to showing Islam in a positive light and getting the historical details of the time right--I'm looking forward to seeing more of Al Jabr, as Cornell described him as a "medieval playboy inventor," lol.

Justice League still manages to amuse me without fail. (The panel with Hal pointing at Batman with that arrow had me laughing soooo hard, I nearly cried.) Although I do agree: There is barely any interaction between Bruce and Clark so far. I hope that will get better...

#5 has left me hopeful! I'm not sure how a future issue could not have some meaningful interaction between them, but comics have found ways to surprise me before.
God, Hal cracks me up so much in this title, and I kind of love Johns for being willing to write him as so very dense. It moves through dumb and almost back into charming, somehow. Because, you know, being totally without fear would be a lot like being stupid, much of the time...
