Mike and Cagney picked me up after work tonight and we went to the mall. This was not pre-planned. They were furniture shopping. They want a new sofa for their living room. XD OMG, I read Flowers in the Attic when I was 12, saw the movie version (which is far tamer) when I was 9. That might explain a lot, actually. Haha.

But yay for new books and movies!

I read Flowers in the Attic when I was about thirteen, but totally against my mother's wishes. I had to sneak-read it, 'cause mum said it was not a book for kids. That's why I can't figure out why it's in the Teen Picks. V.C. Andrews has definitely twisted me a little bit.

My grandmother has like, a whole bunch of VC Andrews books, and after I saw the movie when I was nine, I tried to get her to let me read the book. She refused, until she finally gave in when I was 12. I probably should have waited a few more years...eh. Whatever. If it wasn't that, it would have been something else.
