. . . a delightfully playful yet fruity aftertaste of slime

The cold is slightly better. The mass in my head has broken up and is now trickling down the back of my throat. Everything tastes like frog leavings ( Read more... )

Bleh. Post nasal is disgusting. More tea for me to try to alleviate the taste.

Day is going pretty well. We got bento boxes and they're really fun! Some leftover dinner in the larger compartment, then lots of little delicious things in the two small compartment, hard boiled egg, laughing cow cheese, almonds, raisins, crasins, etc. The beauty part is that since I've been making dinner, B's been sneaking into the kitchen after dinner and packing our lunches right then and there.

That is so freaking adorable. Nathan makes my lunch sometimes, and he does a really good job.

Is it the bento box that's all modern and loks like a thermos? My boss has one, it's pretty sweet!

I would eat more hard-boiled eggs if I didn't associate the smell with old people.

I love boy-made lunches. So awesome.

This is a picture of the bento: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bittenbefore/180239088/

It says, "It is so wonderful to be able to maintain your dreams." A masterful translation.

Oh! I wonder if you'd like Chinese tea eggs! My mom makes shoyu eggs too. Sort of the Chinese equivalent of teriyaki - soy sauce + sugar + water. She makes Chicken Shoyu and just throws eggs in with the chicken thighs and viola, delicious leftovers.

NEAT!

They look kind of horrifying at first glance, I'm kind of curious to try them.

And the bento my boss has is different, its more like three bentos stacked together, looks like a thermos and has a strap. That's still neat though!

I would have given anything to watch a documentary about Antipodean-cetacean relations. I loathe football and was told that it wasn't going to be the kind of party where people actually watch the game, but I'm not sure what else they would have done as the host is a rabid football fan.

The halftime show was meh, and the rest of the game was the same thing. Although I did like two commercials: the talking coffee stain and the animals screaming.
