Do you really think I don't know what you're up to?

I went to a piano recital today. I used to play the piano when I was younger but at that time I was forced to do so. Safe to say, I didn't enjoy it very much. I had the chance to just play some pieces (the little I could remember from my childhood days) and I kinda have the urge to start playing again. My hands on those keys? It felt familiar. I feel so badly for you Austral people regarding the weather when you discuss it on LJ. Since we are generally a Boreal group, we're often bitching about the heat or the cold in direct opposition to what you're feeling. Perhaps if you're down under, you have a more even mix of people bitching about the cold vs. people bitching about the heat on your flist?

I don't even exactly know where you are, but I just got off a three-hour phone conversation with my cousin who's used to a summertime Christmas in New Zealand, who spent this past one in Whistler (BC) with his immediate family, and he's not happy about it, weather-wise. They grew up with Christmas holidays in the summer, so they're having a tough time adjusting (well, the kids are. The parents don't like it, but they grew up in America).

I was in Melbourne for two years and I honestly thought everyone was exaggerating on the 'four seasons in one day' thing. THEY WEREN'T! Goodness, I get so annoyed early in the morning because thinking of what appropriate things to wear is such a hassle.

I'm back in Malaysia now, and while our weather's more hot and humid all year around, you throw in lots and lots of rain and you get the same unpredictability.

If you gave me a choice, I actually prefer Australian weather because you rarely sweat. You can sweat buckets over here.

Chipmunks? Oh no, just stay at home and watch High School Musical. Now, those are real chipmunks singing.

Alvin and the Chipmunks were awesome! It was fun and entertaining and such a feel good movie. I'm going to go watch it again if I get the chance.

Enchanted. Never thought I'd see Cyclops as some prince. And that squirell is wicked!! Good wicked, not the bad one.

I totally agree with you about the weather. Being there a tad bit longer then you have, just imagine how much more I'm preferring the weather there.

p/s: I do try :P

That's the next movie on my list.

I miss the weather sometimes but there's no place like home, I say.
