My Voyage on the Dawn Treader

Narnia and I go way back. I discovered the books quite by accident, starting with (if memory serves correctly) “The Horse and His Boy”… only picking it up because it had the magic word ‘horse’ in the title. I am coming back to read this later because I'm in the middle of heavy duty house cleaning (yes and there is perspiration BLEH) but: Narnia on my friends page!! SO excited!

And the one line I did read of your post was about Reepicheep and seriously: you have to go back and re-watch Prince Caspian because Reepicheep is GOLDEN and if you loved him in Dawntreader you will love the introduction to him in Caspian. Exactly as I remembered him from the books.

I really want to see Prince Caspian again. All I remember are the battle scenes where the fauns were seemingly gifted in martial arts. And I remember feeling annoyed at them being all like "Susan and Caspian are in lurve"

I am also doing housework if that makes you feel any better? I am ironing :( But that's all done and I'm off to see Narnia again. Yay! I feel a bit silly seeing it again and by myself but I'm sure I'll enjoy it second time round.

I feel like I need a Narnian icon...

I love, love, LOVED the movie...I have not read all the books yet...I just read a couple as a child and it's been ages. I really enjoyed this post and getting to see a bit of young Laura and your vivid and wonderful imagination...we are so friends for a reason my dear. I see more and more how much we think alike. I did notice the accent change...before he had a bit of this spanish flair sorta thing for an accent...but I thought the british accent was just fine...I wondered about it though. I want to see it again....I need to go back and watch the first two and read them all. The story is just so beautiful....I'm so thankful we truly can have a relationship with Jesus, that He is always there. Our Aslan is real and the King of Kings, how awesome is that!! :)
