[Asbel and Hubert are at the barracks, working through a battle routine to improve their coordination in battle. Towards the end of a joint attack consisting of Mirage Dragon and All the Way, someone's heel or another kicks at one of their journals on the side, flipping it over and open with enough force to create an accidental feed. [Her friends may already be taken by the time she gets there, but that won't stop Cheria from hurrying over to the barracks to see if there's anything she can do. Anything at all.l]

I'm Tear. [Said simply and almost with an air od professionalism. The habits of being a part of the Order of Lorelei and being raised by Van will never quite leave her.]

My name is Cheria Barnes. [She bows her head lightly in greeting. Cheria was raised to be very polite, but that doesn't stop the worry from continuing to show on her face.]

[Another nod from Pao-lin as she commits the names and faces to memory.]

It's nice to meet the both of you. [Sigh.] Even though this isn't really the best way to do it...

[The girl blinks. Weird, she thought she had...? Well, it's no big deal to re-introduce herself.]

I'm Pao-lin. I guess you two must be Hubert's friends too, huh... [Less a question than a confirmation. After all, if they weren't friends, they probably wouldn't be here right now.] Who was the other person with him?

[Tear gives her a nod of not only acknowledging her, but as a response to her question.] The other person with him was a friend of ours named Asbel.

[It makes her wonder what the Malnosso have planned for the two.]

["A friend of ours", yes. But...]

Asbel is Hubert's brother. [From what Cheria's seen, it isn't as if Asbel and Hubert are hiding this fact. Anyone who's friends with Hubert deserves to know who his family is.]

Well...at least the two of them won't be alone, right? [Maybe. Who knows what the Malnosso have planned for them.]

[Tear takes the opportunity to turn around, hopefully hiding her furiously blushing face because... this is the first time she's heard that Hubert and Asbel are brothers. Somehow that particular detail had never been brought up, and that only makes the experiment where she and Asbel had been his parents that much more awkward.]

Ah... yes. That's right. Perhaps when they return, they'll be together as well.

[Cheria notices Tear's movement from the corner of her eye, but doesn't see the blush. She's just left wondering what Tear is looking at. There doesn't seem to be anything of interest in the direction she's facing.]

[Like Cheria, Pao-lin notices Tear's movement but not the blush on her face. She peers and squints a bit in the direction that Tear's looking in.]

What is it, Tear? [Maybe she heard or saw something that Pao-lin didn't.]

It's nothing. [She focuses all her efforts on doing away with the blush as quickly as possible. This isn't the appropriate place to talk about it.]

Were their journals left behind? [Just steer away all attention from her, yes.]

[It's super effective! Cheria glances around the room for any sign of the journals. She only spots one of them, lying on the ground not too far away.]

There's one. [She approaches it and picks it up to check for a name.] ... It's Hubert's.
