Musha ring dum-a do dum-a da - A Barrel of Conversions

I always used to get peeved when, after being visited by the burglar, every action would drop out of my Sims' queue four or five times a day, for days, in order to be replaced by flaming thoughts directed towards the perpetrator. Well, not anymore. I completely understand my pixels' feelings now, they may complain whenever they like and as long as ( Read more... )

Aww, sorry about your six bikes! :/ I recently heard it's a good trick to use two different locks because most thieves are specialized on only one kind of lock. I once managed to get my brother's bike stolen. I was in a hurry at the train station and was stupid to not put the lock through the wheel so it only secured the saddle. Hey, we still have the saddle. :D

I often see lonely saddles attached to lamp posts, bike racks, or fences, and I always share my pain with its owners, who often don't bother to take their bikes' remains back home with them. I can understand that. It's like admitting defeat. :{
A policeman once told me about the different locks and he also advised me to not buy noticeable high quality bikes. Although I think that even two or three locks won't do any good if the thieves are professionals, which I'm sure is true in half of the cases. When my third bike was stolen, I was in a shop for only ten minutes; enough time for the thieves to snatch it right under my nose.
I guess what would really help was to move to another neighborhood. Not the best address I live in. ;]

You could also install radio-controlled spikes that come out of the saddle, to get your revenge. >:D

Or fill the bike with explosives that go off when it leaves a certain perimeter around you! >:D

Omg!! So much great stuff! I've wanted those bar bottles extracted for years (I tried to do it on my own but failed back then too) So glad to see that you did it! Thank you so much :D

You're most welcome!
Only half a year ago I couldn't have imagined of being able to extract the bottles either. "You learn by experience". I've never been more aware of the wisdom of that saying than right now. :)

Lovely? I? That's the last thing that would come to my mind when I had to describe myself. But thanks.:)
Are you aware that the meaning of the word 'teasing' is arousing desire without affording satisfaction? Well, though the 'Dive Seating' is good enough for taking screenshots, the back of the corner seat still juts out quite a bit and has to be scaled down. I will release the seating when that is done.
Concerning the 70s, 80s, 90s stuff pack, I don't have it and I won't buy it either as it has too little to offer for the money, IMO. I have to save for a new bike. :)
By the way, I totally forget about your fence. Here it is:

(Remember that it is designed for railings and make sure the studs point outwards when applying the fence)

It's maddening indeed. So much time, effort and nerves wasted for nothing. :@
I would love to see pictures of your dive bars one day, do you have a blog as well? And please do tell me in case there's anything wrong with the conversions when you use them, I always have this vague disturbing feeling that I've forgotten something. :)
