Happy New Year,

I hope everyone had a good break over the holidays.

2009 was a pretty rubbish year in a lot of ways and I'm really quite hopeful that 2010 will be different. We might actually buy a house (we have been in the process of 'buying' one or another since July) and there's the baby to come in June, which still doesn't feel entirely real to

It seems like 2009 was a bad year for many, what with the economic downturn, the huge HUGE number of celebrity deaths and Swine flu just for starters. I'm very excited about 2010 and I wish you all the best for this new year :)

Why will your manuscripts never be published?

There's always time! I keep mine general so they're harder to break/feel bad about. Will still fail some, no doubt. Ooops, there's the pessimism.

The two manuscripts I've completed just aren't very good. Both are years old now and a bit embarrassing, though good practice :)
