While channel-surfing today, I tripped across 'Days of our Lives'. Now this is a show I haven't watched in about 7 years or so... way back when we lived in the apartment. I tried to watch a soap opera once, back in high school. I had just injured my knee and couldn't walk for about a month and I tried it out. But I just couldn't stick with it. After a few days, I felt so twisted up from the story line I just quit. I ended up watching "Much Ado About Nothing" about 30 times.

Those soap opera women. *shakes head* Would my horse had the speed of their tongues! ;)

LOL!

Believe me, I am anything but a soap opera woman! I was so pleased/surprised/excited to see Austin and Carrie, it managed to rivet me for the remainder of the hour... though I'd channel surf when then other story-arcs were on. It was a nice blast from my past at any rate.

I first started watching back in 5th or 6th grade. My girlfriends and I would race home from the beach in order to catch Days at 3pm. That was about the time Steve (Patch) and Kayla got married the first time... on the boat when she couldn't speak ( ... )
