god, whatever, politics is ridiculous and im staying as far away from it as i can. it's more of a circus than an election, and i could care less. no matter who wins, when they get in office they aren't going to do a damn thing they said they would.

Yeah, politics flies over my head like crazy business, too. The main reason I really want to care about them is because I'll most likely need to know them if I get a newspaper job. My reasons are completely selfish. XD

I try to educate myself about politics, but then life gets in the way. :/

I do plan to vote in this election, though, so I'm going to try and do better at the whole educating-myself thing. Health care is an issue I really want to read up on more since, being a diabetic, it's something that affects my everyday life.

I know what you mean. It's the political self-educating that confounds me. I just don't know what I should start with so I actually understand half of everything on the news. At least you know an issue you can genuinely take interest in. I don't even have one of those.

I sometimes find myself wanting to get involved in politics and vote but I get so easily confused by the whole thing. I can't trust myself to vote when I don't even understand what I am voting for. @.@
