Hopefully Reaper will be renewed. I read this in a article today:

""Reaper": The word on CW's cult-favorite supernatural comedy-drama has turned unexpectedly positive. Though recent episodes have pulled about a 1.1 rating, the CW needs a suitable Thursday night partner for "Supernatural" because next season is expected to be the last for "Smallville." Plus, after adding DVR use, "Reaper" ratings often climb more percentage points than any other series, and CW executives are fond of the show."
From here. :D

If the CW likes the show, it's pretty good news. Gossip Girl has had episodes that did worse than Reaper in ratings, but it still got renewed.

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR TO-DO LIST! I'm taking a Creative Writing class this summer and I'm FREAKING OUT, hahaha. How is your fiction class like?

Yeah, I read that on reaper_tv and Television Without Pity's forums, so I'm trying to keep cautiously positive. Still, it'd help if you, you know, watched it tonight? *so not subtle with the show pimping*

I always feel so bad talking Reaper with you. The Rpr fandom hates Gossip Girl mainly for the ratings conflict. GG gets this big OMFG campain and Rpr's lucky if next week's ep. preview airs right after the current ep. ends, but Rpr generally gets better ratings but hasn't been renewed yet. I know you love your GG, so it's almost like we're different sides of fandom wars. ^.^;;

Thanks. Creative writing classes are so much fun. In fiction writing we wrote three short stories, got in peer review groups, read our pieces aloud, and critiqued each other's work. It's kind of nerve-wracking if you're thin-skinned like me, but getting feedback really helps improve your writing. Creative writing class was pretty much the same, except you write more of a variety of creative genres than just short fiction stories. I think you'll enjoy it.

Hahaha, no, I totally agree. The CW screws over all their good shows for Gossip Girl. Stuff like Supernatural and Smallville consistently get good ratings, and if the CW would just promote Reaper AND stop moving its timeslot around so much, I think it could develop a strong "cult" following, too, since it's a similar genre. I do like GG, but it's not exactly unique. The CW has some (very few, haha) really good shows, but they ignore them all for the dumb teen soaps.

Also, I think Reaper would make a decent pair with Supernatural, so I do hope it gets renewed. But I don't have a Nielson box on my TV so it doesn't make a difference whether I watch anything. *sadface* :(

Oh man, I am SO SHY to have people read my work in front of me, and even more shy to read my stuff aloud. Hahaha I'm gonna have to get over that in the next few weeks. o_O

Either their dumb teen soaps or their dumb reality shows. Seriously, Farmer Wants a Wife? I think every single commercial for that thing has the farmer guy shirtless. Yeah, okay, he's hot. The women are superficial city girls who want a fine piece of homegrown booty. The CW is such a cracked up network. Whenever I tell people to watch Rpr I have to defend it hard because they'll turn up their noses at the mention of the CW. A number of people want it on the same night as SpN. They both have a similar supernatural -- ha ha, redundant much -- flare but from what I know about Spn take that theme in different directions. You'd get your two flavors of ice cream with those two hours.

It's hard, I don't blame you. I still get nervous shivers when I'm being critiqued, and I pretty much have to bash my writing to set myself up for any negative criticism. And this is the sort of thing I want to do with my life, what? It gets a little easier every time, though, as slow and gradual as it can feel. You'll be okay, promise. ^.^;;
