I KEEP THINKING 'SNORKEL' INSTEAD OF 'SNOWKEL' SO THE WATERY BACKGROUND IS APPROPRIATE. :D

That's understandable because the way they pronounce the name in Japanese is the same way they do "snorkel," so it's confusing. Even though their official site URL was snowkel.com, nobody was positively sure how it was supposed to be romanized until their first major label album came out and spelled it "Snowkel." Their name is derived from "snorkel" anyway though since they picked their name because they wanted to breathe life into listeners with their music, like a snorkel helps a person breathe underwater.

Where the frick was I going with this? O.o;; I guess that the Snowkel/snorkel/water associations all work out anyway despite the band name confusion or something. Yeah.
