Okay. So I'm looking for internships and such online right now, and I'm laughing at how they all say they require "excellent interpersonal and communication skills."

Tell me again why the heck I'm looking for a future in the communication field. UGH.

Edit, 4:43 p.m.: Wait. Is it true doing internships is illegal after you've graduated?

lmao oh god I know, I'm looking for secretary jobs and they all say that too and I'm like, w-well I get really nervous whenever anyone talks to me and stumble over every word and say 'like' six times per sentence so OBVIOUSLY THIS WILL GO WELL

YOU CAN DO THIS! JUST BREATHE! It'll be okay. Do what I did, and ignore whatever they say for what they're looking for and just apply. Because a lot of the time they put that stuff out there...but are willing to make concessions. Especially with today's economy.

I guess that works. I mean, it'd still be a good idea for me to work on those communication skills because dag yos I need them, but I could be weeding out good opportunities because I might not be exactly what they want to a T. Is that what you mean? ^.^;;

I just mean don't be put off by what they say they want. Often times they'll overlook stuff when they select people. No one's perfect. Just do your best, yeah? =D Have confidence. Or lie lol.
