Inevitable betrayal? IT'S A TOURIST TRAAAP.

1. Everything else comes second to this: A guy playing for the Panthers, Zednik, got slashed across the throat. You can go look for video if you want, I'm sure it's made the youtubes by now. I saw the replay (yeah, Dave's supercool TV? Not so much when it's showing hi-def arterial blood on a slow replay) and I cringed so hard it hurt. Yegad. ( Read more... )

What was the name of the guy who cleaned up after they finished tearing down the SW sets? oregoonie February 11 2008, 08:12:48 UTC
You forgot to mention how Dave geeked out and ran into one of the dino-buildings ahead of us. A word of warning: if you ever decide to move 2,000 miles away from home, make sure you take your Dave with you. I made that mistake with LT, and I'm having a bitch of a time getting him to move to Oregon.

I'm glad you like the peanut butter. It's tasty enough where you don't have to put a ton on the bread (which is nice because hey, fewer calories). Did you put jelly on your sandwich? I don't. Gak.

Yes, today (er..yesterday) was a blast. I had a lot of fun (even though I tanked at trivial persuit). You and your friends are ten kinds of awesome.

Why do you think I got all sad when he moved to the Panhandle? Considering what a pair of homebodies we are, it might as well have been 2,000 miles.

Wait, wait. Which time are you talking about, where Dave geeked out and ran off ahead?

Now it's only 20 miles, right? Is better!

Yeah...he kinda did that a lot, didn't he?

Is that a new slashy throat incident, or the one from many years ago that happened to the goalie?

A new one. It happened in Buffalo again, though...

I hope to make sweet, sweet love to Neil Gaiman someday. If you liked American Gods, that's exactly why you would like Supernatural. It's extra satisfying if you also happen to be a fan of Joseph Campbell.

Did you guys climb up into the big pink dinosaur and talk about Simone's big butt?

And where is there a good clip of this throat slashing? Everything on YouTube cuts away like a big 'ol nancy.

I'm still spooked after the asylum one. Ehngh. Do not like scary. AND THE BUGS.

This show knows what scares me.

As for Zednik.. look for the FSN/Sun Sports feed. Sources tell me that one is a frillion times nastier.

Dude! My Sabres contact back home did NOT inform me of this. Eep.

I think maybe your Sabres need to rethink their being named after a sharp metal object.

How is that any inferior to being named after atmospheric phenomena?

Both of the skate-to-jugular incidents have happened in Buffalo.

Maybe there's a curse.

Yeah. Yipe. Did you SEE it? It's not as bad as the Malarchuk thing (which, if you haven't seen that, be aware you can never un-see it) but it's still pretty gruesome.
