...'cause I totally missed ericthecavalier 's birthday.  Sorry, hon--it was on my calendar and everything.  I hope you had an awesome birthday, and I'm sending belated wishes for a great year.

Haha. Gotta love the No Way Out jokes. I think they're even funnier now that I haven't watched a WWE PPV in a couple years, and that's saying something, because I love lame jokes like that! :)

My birthday went well - a group of friends and I went to Longhorn Steakhouse, and I had delicious Prime Rib. I'll be doing more to celebrate this weekend.

Thanks for thinking about me! Hope things are going as well for you up there as they are down here... Well, except for the snow. Why the heck is it snowing? They're calling for an inch of accumulation tonight, and it isn't even Thanksgiving! What the heck is up with that?

See, I'd say something like, "I'm glad we're not the ones with snow" but then it would snow, and I'd have to kick myself.

How's the fam doing? What are the thanksgiving plans?

There's like an inch and a half of it out there, and has been all day! That's just... WRONG!

The family is good. Just got back from dinner with them. Had interesting conversation about politics as usual - my mother voted for McCain because she's very religious and pro-life, but she said that this year is the first time in a long time when she genuinely liked both candidates and didn't feel like she was picking the lesser of two evils.

Looks like they're getting close to getting a definate buyer for the old house, which is good... although I will miss the place. I grew up there, after all, and I've got a lot of strong memories of it.

Now I've got a new monitor (well, a new hand-me-down monitor anyway - I'm cheap as you know, and generally take my dad's old monitor when he gets a new computer), and I think I need to switch to a higher resolution, because everything is oversized compared to what I'm used to.
