Okay, so.. yeah I know I've been away from this thing AGAIN forever. Sorry. And I still plan on talking about my mental health with you people who are patient enough to be willing to put up with my ramblings on that subject. (Oh joy! Doesn't that sound exciting ( Read more... )

I would talk to your doctor again. Sometimes, if they can't find anything else that works, the doctor can get your insurance company to make an exception, and they will cover the prescription. That's what I had to do with my Zyrtec before it went generic, because it was the only antihistamine that worked for me. My insurance company didn't want to cover it, and my doctor told them that nothing else will work, so they covered it.

*hugs*

It's worth a try. Good luck!

I am not really any help in this situation as I do not have bad reactions to any medicines. even strong pain pills that say "Drink with milk" or "may cause upset stomach" do not bother me. BUT

What a pain in the ass!!! and you would think that a doctor or nurse or anyone writing a prescription would have a little more care or concern.

Stinkin bad guys!

So, hope you get it worked out soon!

*hugs*

I am in a similar boat. I would not have survived without modern medicine. I've told you about how careful I have to be about taking Sudafed these days, I think. But yeah, insurance and drugs are a pain.

As for sinus trouble, I've discovered an interesting oddity. Look up "neti pot" on YouTube. They're not as weird to use as it looks.
