Well this is why I make sure my kids know that there are a variety of folks out there. I am teaching them that they should treat folks as individuals. I want them to accept folks for who they are.
As Sandi says, I can't imagine turning either of mine away and putting conditions on my love for them. I hate that folks have to hide who they are, be disowned for who they are. Aren't they the same person before you knew?

Don't forget the soldiers who have to lie. And are abused often times if they are found out.
I am a mother of a daughter. I could never turn her away. Can't imagine how some do. There is no reason. No good ones, anyway.
JHC - When we are speaking of adults. Why do we care who sexes who? Or who pokes what where? I don't care.
