Thanks. I didn't have much say in the backlighting; the sun was where it was, and so were the roos and the tree shadow. The only thing I had to do was wait for the roos to assume a photogenic position in relation to the tree shadow, which took a while. And just when I pressed the shutter, the joey averted its head, thus somewhat ruining my composition, but hey, such is life...
I was wondering if I'd made the shot too dark, but I don't think it works without the very dark shadows.
