I don't know about you, but I could really do with a beautiful sunrise around here. Mornings have been terribly dull and grey lately.

Well, clichés only become clichés when they are universally accepted due to their perfect encapsulation of an idea. As clichés go, these are beautiful.

I think I may give the Myanmar Ministry of Tourism more business if I send the photos to Lonely Planet. Which I may very well do at some point.

I know! I was quite ecstatic when I took these pictures. I was nowhere near the spectacular temple I had planned to photograph when the sunrise began, but the nearest one at hand proved quite useful, too, silhouette-wise...
