Another double exposure which didn't turn out quite the way I'd planned it, but which I like all the same...

That is lovely! What a good idea for a double exposure, too. The figures are sharper than the background, which gives it a lovely ethereal quality. :D

Cheers. :-) As I said in one of the comments to my previous post, the idea was to have the figure at the front appear more solid than the one behind her -- a real flesh-and-blood person being mocked by a ghost. Obviously, it didn't quite work out that way (they both turned into ghosts!), but I like the result quite a bit. It somehow looks both fairy-tale-like and vintage.

Now that I know how to use my Holga for double exposures, I look forward to doing more of them...

I get a real feeling of nostalgia from this image, like I'm peering into ones childhood memory. This is eerily beautiful Elaine...thought provoking.

It makes me nostalgic, too, but most of all it gives me lots of ideas for future photo projects. I'm discovering all sorts of potential in my little Holga. Now if I can only find enough models to help me realise this potential...

Thanks. :-)

Thanks! I'm surprised you never seem to have posted any Holga double exposures yourself...
