“Now let me see, how am I going to get hold of that right hand...”

I know, I know... never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

But seriously, you should come and see the Cathedral and Thorvaldsens Kristus and all the other statues soon. There's a whole museum dedicated to his works, too.

I will, at some point. November is not going to work, as I'll be in Morocco then, but I'm considering spending a few days in Copenhagen next spring, if my contact there isn't off to Greenland or some such destination... :-)

Well, as much as I've enjoyed this series (particularly these last two, very nicely broken and eerie) I have to say I can't wait to see what's next.

I'm new here, so just getting caught up. Rather than comment to all the entries, I'll start here with a blanket comment on the Cemetery photos.
AMAZING, BREATHTAKING, UNIQUE, STUNNING. I wish we had such places here...but most of our cemetery are neatly flat with name plates and no real art or sculpture...our cemetery in Maryland are boring...only a few really nice ones....
Your photos, all of them were wonderful. Kudos.

Yeah, Europe is pretty good for spectacular cemeteries -- especially the Catholic places. Cologne is about as Catholic as you can get without going to the Vatican itself, so they have some pretty good cemeteries there...

I'm glad you've enjoyed the photos. Thank you!
