I'm interested in the Dresden Files... have just started reading the first of the books and I like it :)
Unfortunately, given that I'm waiting on Mag7 (the mastercard bill got here quicker than the DVDs muttergrumble), want Life on Mars as soon as it comes out (July, they say) and have just see a 2-disc I Claudius (could never afford the umpteen-volume, umpteen-hundreds-of-dollars version) it may have to wait...

Seriously, I once bought every DVD that caught my fancy. The result: a huge debt I'm still paying off on. So now, just to be safe, I no longer buy any DVD's at all. I just make do with what I have. Which is, of course, quite a lot.

Oops. Sorry to play the role of tempter. I do have a rule that I only buy boxed sets of shows I'm going to fic. Or things that are Shakespeare-related. Which is, of course, quite a lot. :(

Yes, you're an evil temptress, you :eg:. I now stick to collecting icons, which kerravonsen and sallymn (see current icon) have so far graciously provided me with.

I haven't read the DF books, but those who have say the series has several differences. But it's still good.

And they're much cheaper than DVDs and healthier than chocolate :)
