I'd been wanting to write this, really, for a long time. Then the
picture challenge on the scarlet seduction site caught my attention, and here it came. This was written while David and I were on our honeymoon, because I got sick and we couldn't do *anything* but play video games and write slash. Damnit.

Bad me!!
This story rocks!! I love it so much. I like how you built the tension in Yohji, making him wonder whose memory was haunting Aya. I like the constant comparisons, but they somehow become individual anyway. I like how Yohji and Aya manage to find their peace at the end together, and you end it with such a lovely optimistic view for the future. (I'm such a sap for happy endings, really... especially with boys who have so much angst readily available).
Thanks for writing this and posting it (1.5 years ago now... o_O;;)

Like you, I'm all for happy, sappy endings for boys with angst. Look at my FMA stuff, it's the same. Pile up the angst, then give them a way out, let them cope, yeah?
I wrote this fic on honeymoon, when I was getting very very sick but didn't know it. A lot of Youji's angst comes from that, I think. When you suffer, make the muses suffer too, right? ^_~
Thank you so much for reading. I'm so thrilled that you liked this! ♥♥♥

I also intend to leave comments on several other of your Weiss fics (because I love how you handle the boys *purrr* and you don't turn Aya into a complete and total bastard). So that will happen sometime in the next few days/week.

*grin* Well, that's just perfect. I mean, why put them through so much if you can't get them to the 'cuddle and/or sex it better' stage as well?

Sappy endings that lead to sex are better, for me anyway, than angst that leads to sex. Seems less complicated, somehow.
And just because I've got the link on clipboard right now, have a link to my memories, which make it a little easier to navigate my journal. I hope the rest of my Weiss stuff doesn't disappoint you ... it was written very early, before I had much practice writing. ^^;;;
Thank you so much, hon! You make me smile. *^_^*
