Part one of three ... a little dark, a little sad, a little confusing. I'm very pleased and proud of this arc, even if it doesn't hold up with the end of the series. Consider it taking place just after episode 10 or so.

Haha yeah this one's canon-heavy. REALLY canon-heavy. You may want to watch a few eps of Tutu and re-read this.
