Kyo Kara Maoh, "Wound," Josak/Conrad, NC-17

Ah, how I've missed talking to wicked_pistil! She's one of the only people I know who actively fangirls Kyo Kara Maoh, which was a delightful change from the rotting corpse that is the FMA fandom.

Seriously, guys, is it just me or is that fandom completely fucking dead? *sigh*ANYWAY. She wanted fic of Conrad with Shori, Yuuri's older brother, so I shot for ( Read more... )

Oh, dollface. ;_;

This is wonderful. The betrayal, the hurt, the hesitant reconciliation... So beautiful! I love these two so much, I really do.

I love the nonchalant way you had Conrad brush it off. It feels like he's trying to reassure himself that it wasn't important, that it was an accident.

Your Josak makes me ache and I love it. These good-hearted anime boys are going to be the death of me, I swear. =/

Thanks so much for doing this!

Mmm, I'm so glad you liked it, hon. I posted this one first because, of the two I wrote today at work, I liked this one less. You know me: I like my boys devoted and faithful.

... but c'mon, we know Conrad would waver, if presented the opportunity. There's just no denying it.

I thought, of all the KKM characters, they did the best with Josak: he's no stereotype at all, being strong and effeminate, rough and deep, all at once. I'm glad you like this take on him; he's one of the strongest muses in my brain, and I enjoy writing him.

Thank you for getting me back into this fandom, hon! I'm glad you liked the story! ♥

PS
Someone say "ConSak icon"? ^_^

OMG THAT IS MY NEW DEFAULT ICON

God, I ♥ you. *_*

Yozak (kjrtfi inconsistent spellings! XD) is such a well done character. The first time you see him in drag, it's a joke. But after that, it just is. It's what he does, what he's happy doing, and holyshitlookatthosebiceps! He's beautiful and likes feeling beautiful, but he still kicks ass and is a devoted soldier. He's a hardened spy, but a tender friend. Gah, so good. I'ma find a Yozak of my own someday. ;)

Haha, oh lord, the spelling of his name. I don't know where I found it spelled "Josak," but I love it ... makes it so you can call him "Jo'" for short, as a pet name. (Conrad's pet name, from Josak, would be "Captain." You just know it would be.)

I would love to be Josak, myself. Biceps and strength and beauty ... mmm. But maybe without the emotional damage he carries with him from his past. That just makes him tragically beautiful. ;_;

i'm sure i've used this phrase before, but 'hurts so good'.
they're very very real, and i'm very much lacking in the proper words.
but it gets a ery enthusiastic 'goodfic' stamp.

This one actually hurt to write, because they're such loveable characters. One might ask why I do this to them ... but we all know it's just 'cause it makes for goopy "awws" and I like that. XD

I'm glad you liked the story, hon! Thanks for reading! ♥

I LOVE Kyo Kara Maoh; my friends and I used to call it the toilet bishie anime. ^^ I like this one too, shows how Conrad isn't always perfect, how Josak is hurtable like everyone else.

Kyo Kara Maoh's one of the only good intentionally yaoi series I've come across. Ouran was okay, but KKM ... mmm. Good stuff.

I'm so glad you liked this, hon! Thanks for reading! ♥

Ahhhh!!!! x_x Oh the pain of it ... the PAIN!!! *looks around for fluffy happily ever after bunnies* ;O)) Very well-written. I don't know this fandom, but I'll read anything if it's good. ;O}

Oh man, you've GOTTA see this series. It's so damn good.

As for the fluffy happily-ever-after, they do get it. This is just a one-off drabble ... my Conrad and Josak are faithful to each other in longer stories, and will stay that way.

Thanks for reading, hon! I'm really glad you liked the story! ♥

Aww. ♥

There'll be more of this pairing from me soon enough. My girl wicked_pistil has been putting whispers in my ear about it ... which has got the plotbunnies hopping. XD

Check on Youtube for the episodes ... I believe the whole series may still be uploaded there.

I like the way that it seems that Conrad is almost surprised that Josak is hurt by what he did. But I also love that Josak gave him another chance so soon after. Really great. Loved reading it! ^_^"

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I'm not sure if I'd be so understanding, personally, but Josak's life is very different from my own, so I guess that changes things, eh?

Thanks for reading!

Most certainly! I think that I would forgive Josak, but not that fast! And I don't think I would if he ever did it again after that. But that is probably why I like Josak so.

*nods* I think love can make us dumb enough to forgive a lot of things. When I wrote this, I think I had in mind that Josak had missed Conrad enough (and loved him long enough) to know that waiting to forgive would just be a waste of time. I'm not sure I agree with ... myself? on that anymore.

... maybe I should do this story over again, write it from my current perspective. *ponder*
