So, yeah, I know how that is. I wrote a research paper that was due today... last night. Stayed up all night, and got it done. (it rocked too)

Why did I wait until last night? Because I spent all of last week reading and writing fan fiction.. that's why!

I use fanfiction as a breather. I'm finally--finally--to a point in my education where I care deeply about the stuff I'm researching, and it just overwhelms me sometimes.

The air of melancholy is a distinct contrast to the more fluffy YojiXAya fic you did last! But it's appropriate given that this is set during canon, and your other one was post-canon. The ending especially is sad, in that Yoji is settling for "just enough" because he loves this man, and he's willing to take things on his terms, even though he wants more.

And the writing, as usual, is incredibly beautiful and descriptive.

I'm glad you liked this, hon. From what I can tell of Weiss canon, all four of the characters are just plain miserable most of the time, just bouncing from misery to misery in order to keep sane. It's one of the things in anime that I don't particularly like, but I like writing. ^_~

this was hot and sad and sweet - i was getting all twisty-chested over yoji until the end when aya kissed yoji after yoji fell asleep and then i felt he would be alright.
