More Weiss fiction! This one is for o_tsuki_o, who drew a simply breathtaking picture of Youji and Aya (my first and forever favorite pairing from this series) and said she'd like to have a story to go with it.

Here's the story. I hope it does the artwork justice. Exactly 1,000 words long, because of the saying "A picture is worth a thousand words."

My goodness. :)) Makes me remember why I loved this pairing so much. This was...wonderfully beautiful in every way, especially the way you juxtaposed slice-of-life with the echoes of their lives as assassins. You certainly did that beautiful artwork justice. Kudos.

I personally adore this pairing, but the canon gets no credit for that. Artists like o_tsuki_o and writers like scribblemoose get all the credit there.

I really don't know what to say... *sob* That's so beautiful! It's so sweet and sexy that it made me wanna cry... *blushes* I get really emotional while reading stories like this one - and I love them most, because they leave me warm, touched and a bit melancholic...

Of course there's also the fact that my picture inspired you to write it, which is so amazing and it's such an honour! You've noticed so many details and turned them into such an intimate and rich scene, that now it seems like my pic couldn't exist without it. I really miss Youji and Aya. Especially stories like this one. This was the pairing that drew me to yaoi...

I love my new fandoms but YxA will always stay in my heart. And I've met SO MANY wonderful people though it, writers like you, Scribbles, Paxnirvana, Nekojita and so many more. Ah, so much sentiment...

Hahaha, I don't know this fandom either. I've seen the first ep, and it was so bad that I couldn't go on. I learnt the characters from the amazing fanfiction of scribblemoose, the absolute best fanfiction author on the internet.
