In my mind, Shichiroji isn't the type who can hold his liquor very well, and Kanbei just quietly tolerates him falling asleep and snoring all over him after drinking. How lovely that you managed to do a Christmas fic set in a non-Christian culture! Extremely sweet and very hot. I think your couple is going to be just fine even though they didn't actually go all the way on the Solstice. (These things happen when you have an alcohol-fueled eventing. ~_^)
