Things that are really super:

I love making things for people. It's a really intersting and rewarding process from start to finish. (I could elaborate, but I won't. Ask me about it sometime if you want to know.) If I could give myself one piece of advise, it would be this: "stick to small projects. The big involved ones keep making you want to keep them." The cool part of ( Read more... )

although i know you didn't have me in mind when you made them, i will say that EVERY TIME i wear those courderoy overalls with the pooh pockets, someone, usually many people, remark on not only how cute they are, but how they feel they sum me up as a person! i love them. i wear them with a light yellow lacoste sweater. :)
and i love you kyle! i miss you!

Hey Kyle!

I was in Fungomery over the holiday and came to a terrible conclusion: I don't have a current number for you. I was looking for peeps to kick it with and yet had no way to get in touch with you. SLAPDAP is no longer correct is it? You're still in Montgomery, right? I'm still in ATL. 205 - U UP GIRL - if'n you want to get in touch with me, next time you're in my neck o' the woods.

Hope you are well.

Drew

OK- the timing of your post is unusually appro po. Just yesterday Chelsea and I were talking about asking you to make some clothes for us... all in a not so covert attempt to get you geared up to get on PROJECT RUNWAY!!! Who's with me? Lets encourage Mr. Kyle to get on project runway. Even if you're not hip to the idea of te show, Chels definitely has some material that she wants made into a dress. You game for doing some fittings?

Making clothes for you and the wife: definitely cool.
Making clothes under huge time contraints trapped in a room witha bunch of bitchy people (of whom I may aspire to be this bitchiest after the stress really sets in: Definitely my personal hell.

I'm flattered that so many people in my life think I should give that a whirl, but it's just not for me.

However, making shit for loved ones is.
