Time and time again, I tell myself I don't belong here. The military today is not the service of heroes it was in World War 2, but the political monster of the modern world. Everything is political, and it's honestly quite sad. I just wish that I could've been there fighting with men like my grandfather, rather than the punks of the modern day. I

Your post really made me think...everything that you said is TRUE!! But you know what Adam...The world would be a better place if we had more people like you!! Not too many people will join a part of the "Military" right out of high school but you did. And like you said your proud of it. Hang in there and things will go your way :) Good things always come to people that wait. Your have my best wishes!!
