I just realized I use Facebook to do what I used to do in Livejournal - namely, mention some imbecilic and minor aspect of my life (by making it my status) and then expounding on it (by commenting on my own status).

Yeah, I realized I've been using Twitter instead of LJ for a while, now.

I've waded into FB and Twitter too, but find myself using them for very different things. On Facebook I feel like i'm walking through the halls in high school saying hi, planning a get-together or showing snapshots. On Twitter I'm putting notes in bottles, either pithy or surreal or wise-assy, but never with any expectation that they will be answered or even found. LJ is the only one where i feel like really writing anything that even i would find worth reading in a year.

I like livejournal, but I fear I'm the only one. It's the only place where I can mention stupid things to small groups of people I like and know in real life. :D

i linked my twitter to my LJ to share my small stupid updates to the small group of people on LJ who aren't on twitter or facebook (incredible, I know), but then I like to update longer journal entries for select groups of people, since facebook is a larger network of people, and I find LJ a more intimate way to communicate to a smaller more select group of people

I don't use facebook for much.

I just got back to livejournal after a year of not using it.
