jay tunred me on to g.o. its a little, well, not very fancy - but its food! food is food. and cheap(er) food is better (imo). 3 meat items for under $20! package of chicken breats, turkey, and pork! i dont get the weird attitude around not very fancy.

DOLLY!

Yeah, and it's not just any ole food, it's good quality food. Granted, some items are getting close to their expiration dates, but in the seven or so years I've been shopping there I've only gotten unlucky once, with a package of stale tortilla chips. The place rocks.

1. Now I have to check out the Grocery Outlet...there is one off Winchester.

2. Linda Ellerbee...I'm hot for brunettes with alpha-femme glasses.

Yeah, that's the one! ;-) For real, that store has slashed my grocery bill by easily 40 percent. It ROCKS! The Berkeley store is good, too.

I just got back from there an hour ago m'self!! I got two huge organically grown canteloupes, a loaf of Vital Vittles bread, a package of sugar-free lemon cookies, and two greeting cards for--ya sitting down?--$9.97. The melons alone would have cost that much at a conventional grocery store. And Vital Vittles costs $4.75 a loaf at Farmer Joe's. It's less than half that amount at the G.O.

So glad you're shopping there now! Where else can you find hormone- and antibiotic-free chickens for $1.09 per pound? Or two pounds of bison burgers for $6.99? Or a decent sharp white cheddar for $2.29? Or Colgate toothpaste for $1.99? Or an eight-pack of Brawney paper towels for $6.99? I could go on and on...but for real, the bargains are excellent.
