Go to Salon.com and troll the archives. John Dean, Richard Clarke, Paul O'Neil and Joseph Wilson have all written op-ed pieces that have appeared there, as well as excerpts from their books and Q & A's with them. Another good source of that kind of things is msn.com's Slate online newszine. Archives are searchable.

for Salon you'll have to get a day pass by watching a short commercial, but it's worth it. Or you could just subscribe! :)

Thanks. Also, stuff showing the b.s. of supply side economics would be good. My dad thinks the tax cuts were great successes.(Of course, your info on the deficit sums up a lot of that) He has that mentality that the less the rich have to suffer, the better off the economy will be.

Timothy Noah over at Slate.com does the best job of debunking supply side economics I've seen. At least, I think so, because I can understand most of the moneybox segments.

Center for American Progress: http://www.americanprogress.org/ -- founded by former clinton chief of staff leon podesta, but i find it really fair, and extensively sourced/footnoted, usually w/ links to original sources so they can check the context of the statements themeslves. especially the claim v. truth database.

Project Vote Smart (totally non-partisan), good information about voting records, donations, third-party scorecards, etc: http://www.vote-smart.org

I know there are some other good ones -- let me think a little and I'll send some mroe.

And good for you! This is such an excellent strategy.
