Don't worry, I suck at the internet too, or did back before I largely gave it up. I am jealous of your jam shack. And I'm in Osaka right now. I live near Shin Osaka Station. Hopefully we can hang out sometime soon. I'd like to see "Izi" as well. I'll be hanging with D tonight and I suspect it will likewise turn out to be something I can't in good conscience report about.

As for hanging out. Get the fuck up here. We jam every SUnday at the shack, playing whatever. Its only like 5000 to the nearest station if you are coming from Shinosaka. Hop the kitakinki! Bring a guitar!

I'm with you on your internet apathy. I swore of instant messaging programs years ago because I didn't like the pressure of having to sustain 12 meaningless conversations at once. I pretty much stopped updating my Live Journal when I realized everybody else in the world cared about reading my life story almost as little as I cared about writing it. My e-mail client is a vast ocean of junk and pornography, so the chances of someone writing me, me bothering to sift through that virtual haystack to find their needle, and then me replying to it are virtually nil. I spend 9 hours a day at work fucking around on-line and reading forums, and can hardly muster up the willpower to reply even to conversations I'm interested in. I'm the Eeyore of the internet. Oh bother ( ... )

See, now in this instance, you have summed things up quite succinctly. Be proud.

At least, be proud about the internet thing. I somewhat disagree on the beards. While I am growing my shaggy mane out a bit, and accompanying it with beardism, I have a very soft spot in my heart for people with shaved heads AND beard. I think it stems from the Hot Water Music crew, which do that on occasion. Long hair minus beard, though, might have too many connections to hairmetal/glam to be respectable.

I haven't done much research on the matter.
