[That makes him smile, because, well, growing up around the X-Men, he always kind of thought of them as super heroes. It hasn't changed now that he is one, though he still doesn't think of himself as super hero.]

Yeah? Sounds like me and my friends.

[And, okay. He should have been expecting that. He was expecting that, really, but. Even when she's like this, when he can't deny the obvious similarity between her and the Mystique he knew of, he can't look at her and see Mystique. Just Raven.

Right. He can totally do this. He can absolutely call her that and not think of the Mystique on his world.

[He grins at her and takes a step back, then concentrates, shifting himself into his ice form.]

[This is all at least helping her feel a little better about the gravity of the situation.]

[She folds her arms over her chest and watches, expression expectant until he does that.]

[Bobby, too. That's more or less what he does: using distractions to try and make things a little brighter for himself and others, no matter how grave the actual situation is.

He smirks slightly at her first expression, and then his grin widens at her reaction.]

You think? Thanks! This is newer for me than the ice sculptures, but it's come in handy.

[He's a little uh, cold, so Raven pulls her hand back and rubs them together.]

You showed my your secret identity, thought it was only fair to tell you mine.

[Bobby shifts back, frowning a bit when it takes him a little longer than normal. Yeah, he's still not used to this whole 'using your powers takes more out of you' thing.]

Yeah. [She nodded, glancing down at her feet. She’d felt a little weary after her shift, bit she felt better now.]

It’s the whole…being here thing. I have the same problem.

[She settled her hands on her hips, then glanced over her shoulder, smile fading completely.]

So…what do you think we should do? I’m not going to go hide in the barracks til this is over.

It doesn't seem to affect my ice creation, too much. Or at least it hasn't yet.

[Then again, he hasn't done anything but small stuff since he'd gotten here, but that hasn't occurred to him.]

Me, neither. There's been some talk of barricading off the first floor of the keep to make a stronghold for people who are injured and stuff, so. I can make a wicked good zombie barricade.

I guess other than that, just try to help out however we can.

Good. That's a really good thing. [Because it really affects her shapeshifting.]

That's probably a really good idea. [She glances around.]

I'll do whatever needs to be done. [There's no way she's sitting around for this. Not when she knows she can help.]

[Bobby uses his ice creating powers way too much to want them really affected.

And then he smiles at her.]

Of course. We're super heroes, right? We'll protect people from these zombies. You and me.

[Nope, Bobby's never going to be able to think of her as Mystique. Ever. She's Raven, she's funny and smart and sweet and beautiful and she fails and baking and laughs at his ridiculous jokes and makes awesome jokes of her own and wants to help people.

She's this amazing girl who just happens to look like someone he knew of. Just like Bobby happens to look like some guy on Claudia's world.]

[Like she should be doing back home, but she's stuck here. She wondered if Charles was worried about her, or if time just kind of...stopped and he didn't even know she was gone.

She couldn't even think about that right now.]

Right. So what do we do first, hero? [She grins and gives him a little nudge.]

One day they'll make a movie about us.

[Bobby's trying hard not to worry about that, too. It's easier now, though he's not sure worrying over a zombie apocalypse is that much better. Least there's theoretically something he can do about the last one.]

We should probably head inside. See if we're needed there. Or we could make a quick patrol before heading in.
