*pat pat* Tis ok, I've heard many stories about people freaking out. My piece of advice, keep your options open. Just because one group of people dislike this other person doesn't mean that that person would be a bad friend. And sometimes the people you think would be your good friends turn out to be people you just say hi to. In fact, my two good friends Mutt and Casie, when I first saw them on campus I thought, "they look cool but I don't know if they'd wanna hang out with me" and now Casie is my "mom", Mutt is my"sister" and my "aunt" (don't ask, really, don't ask). Maybe you could check out the theatre group, if there is one which is open to non theatre majors, and make friends there.

but in any case, you're going to an art school, i'm sure you'll met some people like you; no matter what college you go to there's always going to be crazy party kids. I dunno much about MIAD, but college is pretty independent; nobody really 'expects' you to do anything, you kinda have to expect yourself to do it.

I'm sure you'll do fine though, and if your school is like most art schools, the first year is a foundation year where every major takes similar classes, so it's a good opportunity to get to know people in every art major.

I want to go to LCAD, and you know what they say about Californians. Especially the ones in the Orange area. :P Although . . . at least I know some people there.

Your art style doesn't look at all like Anime to me. I mean there's some influence but it's so hard to avoid being influenced by something that's everywhere.

I meant anime as in... like... non-fine-art. Everyone I've seen so far is really into fine-art. And I'm more like... modern shiny cartoon art. Sorta.
