I was so shocked, and kind of disappointed, that the only class of mine that mentioned VA Tech was English. This is the deadliest shooting that has ever happened in this country! 33 people are dead! It was so strange that no one really addressed it. I think there are some people who still don't know it happened, which really scares me. Does it take something like September 11th, with 3000 people, to make us notice? That's terrifying. English was depressing too, because Rathbun was all like, I think I'll read you Kafka, just to make you feel a little worse about death, and then we'll discuss suicide in Waiting for Godot for half an hour, and then I'll decide that it's a good time to act out one of the play's funniest scenes. No, I know, don't worry x3 I figured Emma or Josh must have told you.
