The media would like you to think so, so would the Bush administration and various other government worldwide who don't want to rock the status quo but looking at this graph and realising what it means is damn scary

Apparently it isn't just the ice caps that are melting much faster than anyone predicted. The oceans are acidifying ten times faster than anyone predicted to.

Although some scientists are speculating that the sun may be about to enter a period of decreased activity that gave us the mini ice age in Victorian times.

Its all so fustrating. Most of the technology needed to solve the problems exists.
