Those are actually my dream trainers! I've been eying them up on ebay for the past year now! My mum thinks they look funny though ;___;

Yay for Gordon Jack love!
Hehe, they wouldn't be so awesom if they didn't look a little bit funny :3 True they're kind of chunky, but I've seen similar designs by Sketchers and such so they're not THAT unusual. They're very comfortable and well made, I would highly recommend a pair if you can get them at a reasonable price!

Indeed!! And yeah, I look funny so they'll be a perfect fit! I have flat feet and I've heard that platforms are good for flat feet so there's another reason why I should have them XD

I'm not sure if they're 'good' for flat feet, but wearing things like flip flops is apparently very bad for flat feet because there is no support for the arches, so you alter your entire posture to compensate. By that logic, I can imagine that platform trainers would be great, because you get the support of the shape of a trainer but they're epic as well ;)

I'm so glad other people like it and it's not just me being all 'squee' over a dress everyone else might think is ugly as sin XD I know right, hime hair is delicious! My natural hair is really poofy but quite unruly, so I'm going to try wrestling with it today when it's dry to see if I can get nice hime hair with my natural hair. It's doubtful, but here's hoping!

Yeah I'll be honest, I just cut a lot of my hair off because it was too heavy/thick and unmanageable haha! Wigs = much easier. Backcombing is so much hell!

I don't mind teasing my hair, it's just UNteasing that I find a pain :( Wiggies just make everything a lot easier I think because my hair is.... urgh!
I think if you get a wig for about £30 it's worth it. About that price by Minty Mix or some other renowned wig brand would be ideal for lolita!

Thank you my dear Mary! I like pastel colours, but mint and yellow are terrible for me. I think I remember you said you like dark or bold colours like red and black?

Excuse me
I hope I'm not being rude but I was wondering where did you purchase your Gordon Jacks?
I have been on the hunt for a pair of pink or like pink platform Buffalos, Roxys, Swear, or Gordon Jacks for years for a dream cosplay of mine which requires a shoe in the likeness and pink in color. It seems that I will not get to do that cosplay anytime soon, lol. I'm a perfectionist so when I set my mind on having an item for a cosplay I never start on it until I get the important part done first.

Well that is my only question. Thank you!

Hi Kristen! No of course you're not being rude :3 I bought them at a local boutique and they don't have a chainstore. Sorry I can't help you ;__; Which cosplay is it that you're doing? If mine are the right size and colour I don't mind selling you mine. I just haven't worn them as much as I thought I would. I'll keep an eye out for you, though. Is there a contact email I can reach you at if I come across some more?

(btw I used to wear Swears, Roxys, AND Buffalo! I had a cyber kid phase! Chunky platform trainers are lovely but they're just not my style anymore)
